Park Rapids, MN…

Last Wednesday night I flew out of Richmond and headed out the the Midwest! Flying into Minneapolis, and then into Bemidji,MN where my brother picked me up to take me to Park Rapids, MN. My brother John has lived in “PR” for quite sometime and was able to take some time from a busy schedule to let me come up and relax for a few days. I had a great time from fishing (11 fish total), “Tubing”, Golfing to meeting his friends. I did have the chance to bring a little bit of my photography gear with me, it was odd shooting “nature/landscapes” as that is something I usually do not do!
Restaurant on Main Street, sad to say it was closed for operations..
“Long Lost Lake” actually flooded in 2001, this was a common scene around the lake.
This is the start of the Mississippi River in the Itasca State Park.

Glad you had a great time in Minnesota! It’s a favorite of mine as well. Beautiful “nature shots” even if it’s not your forte.
